The All Progressive Congress APC has wins the Tsanyawa/Ghari Supplementary Elections as been announced by the Independent Electoral Commission INEC.
Announcing the results, Sunday, the Returning Officer of the conduct of the Supplementary Elections, Professor Muhammad Waziri of Bayero University Kano BUK, said Garba Gwarmai of APC secured 31,472 votes against Yusuf Maigado of NNPP who secured 27,931 votes
The supplementary election followed the earlier poll, which was declared inconclusive.
Gwarmai’s 3,541-vote lead cements a significant victory for the APC as it consolidates its political foothold in the state.
