Controversial influencer James Brown has come under fire for allegedly misleading Nigerians about visiting Bobrisky in Kirikiri Prison.
In an Instagram post on June 7, 2024, James Brown claimed he visited Bobrisky to check on his well-being, sharing photos of himself, his team, and the Deputy Controller of Corrections. However, the absence of any photos of Bobrisky sparked suspicion.
The controversy intensified after influencer VeryDarkMan released an audio clip in which Bobrisky allegedly admitted to serving her sentence outside the prison.
A source speaking to Instablog9ja revealed that James Brown’s visit was not related to Bobrisky but rather to collaborate with an imprisoned singer named Vindicate. According to the source, James Brown had visited the prison to record a song and shoot a video with Vindicate, with permission from the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) authorities in Abuja.
The source further claimed that Bobrisky had only spent three weeks in Kirikiri Prison before being quietly relocated, casting doubt on James Brown’s original narrative.
These revelations have ignited online speculation and criticism, with many accusing James Brown of using the situation for publicity. As the accusations grow, both James Brown and Bobrisky have remained silent, leaving Nigerians awaiting further clarification on the matter.
