The Elders of Gobir Kingdom in Sokoto State, have called on the Federal and Sokoto State Governments to as matter of urgency secure the released the body of their Murdered Sarkin Gobir, Alhaji Isa Muhammad Bawa who was killed by the Bandits after abducting him on 27th July, 2024.
The Gobir Kinsmen who spoke to Newsmen at the Kano NUJ Press Center, Monday, frowned at the inability of the Government to secure the body of their king after again failing to secured his released from the Bandits days after his abduction.
Reading a Communique of the elders of the Gobir Development Association (GDA) who met on the 7th day of September, 2024 at the George Town Hotel, Gwarinpa, Abuja, Professor Illiyasu Yusuf Gobir, who is the spokesperson of the Group, alongside Alhaji Idris Alhassan Gatawa Chairman and Prof. Yakubu Aliyu Gobir Secretary of the group.
