Katsina State Governor, Mallam Dikko Radda, welcomed former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, and Borno State Governor Prof. Babagana Zulum to Katsina on Thursday for a solemn occasion.
The distinguished guests arrived at Umaru Yar’adua International Airport to extend their condolences following the passing of Hajiya Dada Musa Yar’adua, mother of former President Umaru Musa Yar’adua.
Governor Radda, along with the deceased’s grandson Murtala Yar’adua, former Minister of State for Defense, and former Chief of Protocol to President Obasanjo, Inuwa Baba, received the visitors at the airport. They then proceeded to the Yar’adua family residence.
At the family home, Senator Abdulaziz Yar’adua of Katsina Zone, renowned business tycoon Dahiru Mangal, and the visiting dignitaries paid their respects.
The visit underscores the significant legacy of the Yar’adua family and the strong connections among Nigeria’s leaders.
