As part of efforts to celebrate and award some selected young people across the African continent, his Imperial Majesty, the Arole Oduduwa, Ooni of Ife is set to honor 100 outstanding youths from over 40 African countries that includes Ghana, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Mali, Togo, Swaziland amongst others with the Royal African Young Leadership Forum (RAYLF) Awards.
The fourth edition of the annual event themed: “Africa of the Future: Better together is scheduled to hold come July 12th and 13th, 2024 respectively.
The two days event will see awardees partake in a private dinner time with the his Royal Majesty, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi at the palace while the grand event is expected to hold on Saturday July 13, 2024 at the Oduduwa Hall in Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
The Royal African Young Leadership Forum is a youth-centered annual event under the Global Outreach Initiative of his Imperial Majesty because the human resources of Africa are greatly entrenched in the minds of the youth.
The highly profiled selected honorees fall between the ages of 19 and 39 and were carefully selected from all tribes and professions following their campaign trail and how impactful they have been locally and globally.
Speaking on the initiative, Oba Adeyeye Enitan disclosed that the youths continue to work tirelessly, day and night, to put Africa on the global map through their innovative and creative ideas. To encourage more youths to be hardworking and diligent in their respective fields, the Royal African Young Leadership Forum (RAYLF) Awards was founded and launched in 2020.
He said this years event will see the creation of a the Royal Africans Chambers of commerce where like minds can interact and create new innovations. He however disclosed that the event does not receive any grant as it relies solely on supports from like minds.
