During an interview with Toke Makinwa on her show “Toke Moments,” actor Akah Nnani opened up about his marriage to Claire Nnani, highlighting that their relationship is founded on love rather than mere emotions or lust.
Akah shared that despite occasional disagreements, their deep love for each other serves as the bedrock of their union. He emphasized the complexity of love, noting that it involves accepting and cherishing all aspects of one’s partner, including their flaws and vulnerabilities.
“In our marriage,” Akah expressed, “love is about embracing each other fully, even our ‘demons’.” He underscored the importance of this profound connection in sustaining their bond amidst life’s challenges and differences.
“People marry for the wrong reasons every time. I will say love because there are moments and certain periods of time I don’t like my wife, it has happened. And there are periods when she doesn’t like me because it is the love that keeps us.
“Love is complicated, you have to love somebody’s demons. That is why it is love”,
