A tragic incident unfolded yesterday at the New Garage area of the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway when transport union members discovered a man in distress inside his parked vehicle.
Passersby found Adebowale Segun Adelere, a middle-aged motorist, unresponsive in his cherry-colored car (registration LND 483 FV) near the NGAB filling station.
Eyewitnesses reported that Adelere was gasping for breath when he was discovered, but he succumbed before medical assistance could arrive. Authorities later transferred his body to Divine Hospital Mortuary, where it will be preserved pending autopsy.
