Nigerian singer Skales, whose real name is Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, has expressed his frustration over a ₦15 million loss resulting from a flight cancellation.
In a recent Instagram post, Skales criticized Green Africa for handling the situation, accusing the airline of incompetence.
He was en route to Akure for a performance when the flight was canceled unexpectedly, causing significant disappointment and financial loss as he had been booked to perform. He faced the risk of losing a substantial amount of money.
He wrote:
“Wow! I booked a flight to Akure… got to the airport early, checked in, and suddenly, you cancel the flight because your pilot is sick?
“This is unbelievable. I have lost money (I was paid N15 million by @seyivodi, for f*** sake) because of your horrible customer service. Did you know all along that your pilot was sick, or is this some kind of sick joke? You waited until flight time to inform us. I just can’t believe this. This country, man… we go see.”
