Nigerian Afrobeats star Divine Ikubor, widely known as Rema, has found himself at the center of a social media controversy after a user accused him of sampling an Indian song in his latest hit, “Azaman.”
The debate began when the user posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) comparing Rema’s song to the Indian track “Chudaka Chudaka,” pointing out similarities in the melodies.
Rema’s “Azaman,” featured on his second studio album *HEIS*, has enjoyed significant success, but the sampling claim has generated considerable discussion online. The comparison was further emphasized by a video shared on Instagram that showcased the two songs side by side, highlighting the perceived similarities.
