Nigerian actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has gone viral for his participation in the Gwo Gwo Ngwo dance challenge.
The challenge, which originated with skit maker Brainjotter, has gained widespread popularity across Nigeria. However, the song’s creator, 90-year-old singer Mike Ejeagha, has expressed disappointment over his song being used in a way he feels is inappropriate.
Kanayo O. Kanayo shared a video of his take on the dance challenge on Instagram. In the video, he is joined by two other content creators and is dressed in traditional white attire with a red cap.
The clip shows Kanayo playfully arguing with one of the dancers before stepping aside to showcase his dance moves. He enthusiastically participates in the challenge, smiling broadly as he mimics the characteristic moves of the dance.
