Goalkeeper Nwabali Apologizes to Nigerians After Super Eagles' Defeat in AFCON Championship

Nigerian footballer and goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, receives overwhelming support from celebrities after being visibly emotional following the Super Eagles’ loss to Ivory Coast.

Just a few hours ago, Ivory Coast secured victory in the AFCON Championship, defeating the Super Eagles 2-1.

Expressing his frustration on Instagram, Nwabali apologized to Nigerians, acknowledging the disappointment he and his team caused. Taking responsibility, he showed love and gratitude to Nigerians for their steadfast support, even during challenging times.

“A disappointing and frustrating end. I deeply apologize to Nigerians. I was once a fan, still a fan and I understand how it feels giving you a disappointing night. We take full responsibility. Thanks for the whole support till the end. I love you all” he wrote.
