Burkina Faso U17s head coach Brahima Traore says his players will be ready to face the Golden Eaglets on Thursday as both West African neighbour chase World Cup ticket.
Burkina Faso qualified for the last eight of the 2023 Africa U17 Cup of Nations after defeating Cameroon on Sunday
“We had two objectives in this tournament; first to get to the semi-finals and then to fight for the title,” Traore said at the post-match press conference after the win over the Lionceaux indomptables du Cameroun.
“We will prepare well for Nigeria to enable us get to the semis and earn the World Cup ticket.” he told CAF online.com
