Music star and record label CEO Bankole Wellington popularly known as Banky W has officially been welcomed to the main opposition party Peoples Democratic Party.
The Umbrella crooner was welcomed into the PDP fold by the former Senate President.
Saraki, a former Governor of Kwara State and one of the Presidential hopefuls under the party disclosed this on his official Twitter page on Tuesday.
He wrote, “It was a pleasure to welcome Banky W to the #officialPDPNig yesterday alongside Jandor!”
Banky W had on April 2 announced his membership of the PDP and also declared his intention to contest the seat for the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency in the 2023 general election.
